Power production in the Nordic region. Group operation and maintenance processes and group offshore wind. Industrial ownership.

Dag Smedbold is acting EVP with responsibility for the Nordic region from April 1th, 2024. He comes from the position as Regional Director for Northern 挪威. 
Smedbold has been employed in Statkraft since 1987 and has held a number of management positions in 挪威 and internationally, mainly with operational responsibility for plants in 挪威, 德国, UK and South America. In addition to hydropower, he has also led the commissioning of the first wind farms in 挪威 and gas power in 德国. He sits on the Board of Directors of Eviny. 
 
Smedbold holds a master's degree in marine technology from the 挪威 University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim.
